Wednesday Reflections
There Is Still So Much to Share
Sometimes life brings us to a quiet pause.
Not because the journey has ended—but because we need to look back, take a breath, and understand how far we have travelled.
I recently found myself thinking about my old blog, which I had started years ago.
Those early writings now feel like little windows into another chapter of my life. So much has happened since then—new experiences, new people, new responsibilities, journeys across communities and countries, moments at the United Nations, work with women and children, conversations with young people, time spent with our senior citizens, and countless lessons from ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
And I realised something simple:
There is still so much to share.
Not everything needs to be a grand story.
Sometimes it is a conversation that stays with you.
A woman’s courage.
A child’s question.
An elder’s wisdom.
A village that teaches you resilience.
A moment at an international forum that makes you look at your own country differently.
Or a quiet evening when you suddenly understand something about yourself.
These moments become our real teachers.
As I restart this blog, I don’t want it to be only about achievements or events.
I want it to be about the journey behind them.
The people.
The emotions.
The mistakes.
The learnings.
The unanswered questions.
The moments of gratitude.
And, above all, the belief that each of us can contribute something meaningful—wherever we are.
Over the years, I have learned that service is not always about doing something extraordinary.
Sometimes, service is simply showing up.
Listening.
Encouraging.
Giving someone another chance.
Believing in a woman when she has stopped believing in herself.
Telling a child, “You can do this.”
Sitting beside an elderly person and allowing them to tell their story.
These moments may never make headlines.
But they can change a life.
Perhaps that is why I am returning to writing now.
Because memories deserve to be preserved.
Experiences deserve to be shared.
And lessons should not remain with us alone.
So, this is not really a return to blogging.
It is a continuation.
A continuation of a journey that began many years ago and still has many pages waiting to be written.
There is still so much to learn.
There is still so much to give.
And yes—there is still so much to share.
Today’s reflection
Never think that your most meaningful chapters are behind you.
Sometimes, the most beautiful chapters begin when you finally pause, look back with gratitude, and say:
“I have more stories to tell.”
With warmth and gratitude,
